Abby Elliott

Abby Elliott (born June 16 1987) is an American comedian and actress. She was a cast member on Saturday Night Live from 2008 until 2012. She has also appeared on the Bravo comedy Odd Mom Out and the NBC sitcom Indebted. The actress is the daughter of actor/comedian Chris Elliott. Elliott was the elder of two children , and was born in New York City. She is the daughter of Paula Niedert a talent coordinator and comedian Chris Elliott. Her father was Bob Elliott, a radio comedian. Their younger sister actor Bridey Elliott, was born in Wilton. She attended Immaculate High School Danbury, Connecticut where she performed in school plays and musicals. After having graduated from Immaculate High School in 2005 she enrolled at Marymount Manhattan College in New York City but was unable to attend the first year of her studies .In the year 2010, Elliott dated fellow Saturday Night Live cast member Fred Armisen. Their relationship ended in September 2011. Elliott got married to television writer Bill Kennedy on September 3, 2016. They have a daughter, Edith Pepper Kennedy. Elliott learned about comedy at The Groundlings, and then began performing and training for various sketch comedy shows at Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre (UCB), Los Angeles.
