  Jacques Bermon Webster I, born April 30, 1990, better known as Travis Scott (formerly Travi$ Scott) is a popular American artist and rapper. His stage name is a tribute to the name of his favorite uncle, paired with the first name of one of his idols, Kid Cudi (whose real name is Scott Mescudi).In 2012, Scott signed his first major-label deal with Epic Records and a publishing deal with Kanye West's GOOD Music. He signed a joint recording agreement with Epic and T.I. He signed a contract for joint-recording with Epic as well as T.I. Scott's first project of full length, Owl Pharaoh (mixtape) self-released in 2013. The project was followed by a second mixtape, Days Before Rodeo, in 2014. The debut album of his studio, Rodeo (2015), was led by the hit track "Antidote". The second album, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) became his first Billboard 200 number one album. Scott released Birds in the Trap Sing McCKnight (2016) together with Quavo under the collective name Huncho Jack. In 2018, Astroworld was released to high praise from critics. The album produced his first Billboard Hot 100 top 100 single, "Sicko Mode" feat. Drake. In the latter part of 2019, Scott's record label Cactus Jack Records released the compilation album JackBoys which debuted at the top of the Billboard 200. Following the release of his single "Franchise" that featured Young Thug and M.I.A., Scott was successful in releasing the compilation album JackBoys. Scott was the first artist to reach first place on the Hot 100 with three songs within a mere one year.
